Any customer information shared with TheMexicanTaco.com and its Catering team is for internal use and completely confidential. TheMexicanTaco.com will not distribute, share, provide or sell any personal information with any outside party. Detailed Policy found here: Privacy Policy

Free Quotes and Catering Requests –

To receive a free taco catering quote fill out our free quote form, contact form or email us at info@themexicantaco.com. By filling out the free quote form, a catering request, a contact form and etc. will not manifest any catering contract with TheMexicanTaco.com. Booking our taco cart catering service or Mexican Food Catering service will only be granted when we receive a deposit and you receive a confirmation from our catering coordinator or from Taqueria El Rancho, Inc.

Deposit Policy –

To reserve and book an event an initial deposit of 10% or $75 is required, whichever is greater.

Full payment is required by or on the day of the event. All accounts are subject to a delinquent payment charge of 1.5% per month (18% annually) with a 10% late fee.

We accept Cash or Check payments on the day of the event.

Check or credit card payments can be made prior to event; a 5% convenience fee applies to online or over the phone credit card payments.

Stairs –

We  have 3 options: A) we’re told upfront and charge $150 extra to send the appropriate servers to help with adequate time, B) we’re told upfront, customer agrees that help will be provided by the customer for the server, C) we avoid the stairs & setup in a drive way, garage or etc. D) On the day of the event, we charge $300 and send extra help to help load and unload (if available).

If one of these options are not met and agreed upon, server can refuse service and customer will be billed full amount.

Cancellation Policy –

The Mexican Taco Catering Team will provide catering services rain or shine.

The following guidelines apply in regards to cancellation.

2 weeks or more 100% of deposit returned.
1 – 2 weeks 50% of deposit returned.
Less than 1 week 0% of deposit returned.
Less than 72-24 hours 0% + 50 % of Estimated Total Bill if not rescheduled.

Less than 24 hours 100% of Total Bill

Final Guest Count or Changes to the Order-

Final Guest count and any final changes to the order form must be provided at least 72 hours before the event. Same guidelines apply to orders placed without initial deposit.

Gratuity and Tipping Policy-

Gratuity/Tips are not added to the grand total. Any tipping may be provided to the staff/servers the day of the event. Average tips are usually 10%-20% of the total amount. Service charge may be added to events from 10PM-8AM.

Catering Service Provided-

Unless otherwise stated, TheMexicanTaco.com provides 2 hours of serving time. Set up/Cooking time is not included. Left over rice and beans may be kept; you may keep a small portion of meat off the grill if you provide Tupperware.
Additional hours of service or serving time are at a flat rate of $100 per hour during the weekdays and $150 during the weekends unless otherwise stated for larger parties.
We usually provide an average of 3-5 tacos per person; our service can be all you can eat during the serving time frame with prior agreement.

We Cater all over Orange County, most of Los Angeles and San Diego, and Riverside Counties as well. Travel fee may apply.

  1. When opted-in for a quote or order, you will receive text messages (SMS/MMS) to your mobile number. These kinds of messages may include customer service communication, quote information, order updates, offers, coupons, or other information.
  2. You can opt-out of this service at any time. Just text “STOP” to the phone number. After you text “STOP” to us, we will send you an SMS reply to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time or text “START,” and we will start sending SMS messages to you again. If confirmation was not received please reach out via email at info@themexicantaco.com.
  3. If you are experiencing any issues, you can reply with the keyword HELP. Or, you can get help directly from us [https://themexicantaco.com/contact-us].
  4. Carriers, such as AT&T, are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  5. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. You should expect to receive a few messages per order/quote from us.
